Frequently Asked Questions

What is empowerment photography?

Empowerment photography celebrates your inner strength, beauty, and confidence. It's about capturing your essence and showcasing your unique story through powerful imagery.

Do I need to have modelling experience?

Absolutely not! Our sessions are designed for everyone. I guide and pose you through the entire process, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.

What should I wear for my session?

You can wear anything that makes you feel confident and beautiful. Some clients choose to go nude or wear lingerie, but it's entirely up to your comfort level. We recommend bringing a few outfit options to suit your style and preferences.

Can I bring props or specific themes?

Absolutely! Your shoot is entirely customizable. Whether it's props, specific themes, or meaningful elements, we're here to bring your vision to life.

Do I need to have a certain look or style?

Not at all! Our sessions are designed to celebrate diversity. I encourage clients to be themselves and embrace their unique qualities.

How long does a session take?

Typically, a session lasts around 2-3 hours. We want to ensure there's enough time for you to feel relaxed and enjoy the experience.

Can I bring someone with me?

During your session, I strive to create an environment focused entirely on capturing your unique essence and personality. To ensure our time together is tailored to your individual experience, I kindly request that sessions be attended solo. This allows us to focus solely on creating stunning portraits that reflect your true self. Your comfort and undivided attention are key to achieving the best possible results during our time together. Thank you for understanding

When is the best time for maternity photos?

The ideal time for maternity photos is usually between 28-36 weeks when the baby bump is beautifully showcased, and the mother-to-be is still comfortable posing.

What should I wear for a maternity session?

Flowing dresses, form-fitting outfits that accentuate the bump, or if you go nude I can pose you discreetly or cover you with fabrics or clothing options I have in studio. We can discuss wardrobe options that best suit your style and preferences.

Can I meet you first?

Yes absolutely! I'm happy to arrange a meet up prior to the session, either at your home, mine or meet up for coffee.
